Following ATH airport’s request for revised coordination parameters for the winter 2026/27 season that it has been designated as temporarily coordinated, and the subsequent approval by the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority, additional capacity will become available during certain periods. More specifically, the total runway movement capacity increased from 35 to 37 movements during specific time zones and on certain dates throughout the season.
In view of this additional capacity, and in order to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all airlines, particularly as we are now beyond the industry slot series return deadlines, all airlines are requested to review and, if necessary, update their waitlist by submitting a WCR message from today, 21 August until 28 August 2026 EOB.
HSCA will review the waitlist and provide offers to airlines, subject to the additional capacity that has become available.
We kindly ask all airlines wishing to remain under consideration for the additional capacity to ensure that their waitlist is properly maintained and updated within the above mentioned deadline.
