Due to planned runway works at ΑΤΗ, airport capacity will be temporarily reduced during the W26 season. As a result, Αthens International Airport will be temporarily designated as a Level 3 (Fully Coordinated) airport for W26. As the Level 3 designation is temporary, airlines will not accrue historic rights to slots during the temporary change of level.
As part of the coordination process for priority assessment, we kindly request that all airlines submit their operated schedules for the Winter 2025 (W25) season to HSCA. These will be crosschecked against airport operational data for priority determination purposes. Therefore, please send your W25 operated schedules to slot@hsca.gr using SSIM Ch. 6 SCR format (using solely action code N), no later than 23 April.
We kindly request that airlines withhold W26 initial submission requests at this stage. Further communication will follow shortly, providing detailed guidance on the initial submission procedures and the coordination process applicable to this temporary designation, in line with the industry timeline. Please note that SHL messages will not be distributed.
