S26 ATH – Working Procedure Update (21-22 September) April 21, 2026

S26 ATH – Working Procedure Update (21-22 September)

Following the completion of the working procedure for Athens International Airport (ATH) for the period of 21–22 September 2026, during which the airport will be designated as coordinated (level 3) due to runway works, HSCA would like to provide the following update.

We wish to thank the airlines that have complied with the working procedure and deleted/reallocated the slots that were communicated to them. For those airlines that did not adhere to the procedure, HSCA has cancelled/reallocated the relevant slots, in line with the working procedure as approved by the HCAA.

Please note the following:

  • Airport declared capacity has been met. All allocated slots are now confirmed (status “K”).
  • Slot review required. Airlines are requested to review their allocated slots and cancel those that they do not intend to operate.
  • Late cancellations will be closely monitored, given the highly congested nature of this period.
  • Waitlist management. All airlines are urged to maintain an updated waitlist to facilitate potential swaps and allocation requests should capacity become available.
Those wishing to maintain deleted slots on the waitlist, must submit a SCR message using the N action code.

Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
