Due to the ongoing crisis situation in the Middle East, HSCA will apply JNUS to impacted airports for flight cancellations, on a 6-week rolling basis. The end date remains to be determined.
- Most impacted airports: AMM, AUH, BAH, BEY, BGW, DAM, DOH, DWC, DXB, EBL, IKA, KWI, RUH, SHJ, THR, TLV.
JNUS will apply to the following cases:
- Airports that are directly impacted, i.e. are closed and/or the respective airspace is closed.
- Airports that open temporarily or are open but with very limited operations.
- Airports that, although being open, are located in countries/regions where military action is taking place and for which an EASA recommendation “not to operate within the affected airspace” exists (e.g. Lebanon).
All other cases involving serious disturbance of operations at affected airports will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
