FINANCIAL

Pursuant to the Hellenic Law 4233/2014, the Hellenic Slot Coordination Authority (H.S.C.A.) is established as a non-profit private legal entity.

According to art. 6, Slot Fees are imposed in favor of H.S.C.A. to the managing body of a coordinated or schedules facilitated airport as well as to the air carriers (definitions as per COUNCIL REGULATION (EEC) No 95/93 article 2).

Slot fee cost reflects the operating costs and the provided services by H.S.C.A. The cost of the slot fee is determined annually by a joint decision of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks.

01

For the collection of slot fees, H.S.C.A. will invoice each airport managing body and air carrier the total amount for each take-off or landing slot held, at the end of each charging period. For the time being, there is no Greek airport that has been characterized as Level 2 or 3 for the Winter Season, thus invoicing will be carried out two (2) times each year for the following charging periods:

1) Last Sunday of March until the 30th of June
2) 1st of July until the last Saturday of October

All Airlines/Users are responsible to provide accurate and up-to-date data, including their Billing Address which is essential for correct and on-time invoicing. For this reason any changes concerning company or contact details, should be submitted.
